How To Use the Law of Attraction in Everyday Life

The general idea behind the law of attraction is that you call into your life whatever it is your thoughts are fixed upon. A positive attitude is essential to those wanting to apply the law of attraction to their life.

Many people who practice using the law of attraction do so for a variety of reasons. The most common reasons so many people want to learn how to use the law of attraction in their life include:

  • wealth
  • health
  • happiness
  • power

The law of attraction has the potential to help you achieve a fuller life and greater happiness within yourself. A lot of people turn to learning about the law of attraction after a failed relationship, being fired from a job, or losing someone close to them. Often a great sadness, failure, or loss is what makes people turn inward and look for deeper meaning from life.

Applying the law of attraction is actually very simple and easy to do. It does not involve any “hocus pocus” but rather a positive frame of mind and perspective. Here are three basic ways you can begin applying the law of attraction to your life every day:

1) Repeat a positive affirmation throughout the day. This positive affirmation might be your own, one you’ve pulled from a list of affirmations you found elsewhere, or a positive and inspiring quote. I like to keep a spiral-bound notebook of index cards and write positive thoughts or quotes on each one. I can then flip through my little book each day and be inspired with a new thought every day. Repeat these positive thoughts to yourself throughout the day.

2) Set goals for yourself. If you’ve read any of my other articles on the law of attraction, you’ve already heard me say this more than once, but it bears repeating again. You can’t just think about what you want in your life and expect it to fall on your head from the sky. You have to put the law of attraction into motion with action. Part of this action is setting goals for yourself. Know what you want and have a clear plan of action on what you can do to get there.

3) Evaluate your purpose. Once you have your goals defined, you will begin to feel your purpose. Your goals will give you an idea of what you want to reach and your purpose will then guide you towards those goals. Every thought, action, and deed will be focused and aimed towards your goals.
